Oberlin considers water plan investment options amid council review
A city meeting with Burgess and Niple engineers outlined water system options near Oberlin. Plans 1 and 2 propose a new treatment plant or upgrades at about 1.7 million dollars, Plan 3 about 800 thousand, with total costs and timelines discussed with council and PUC in a 40 minute session. The discussion stressed that money alone won’t decide the issue and highlighted the need for treated water solutions over 25 years.
