The fifth local traffic death in a fortnight occurred Saturday night with Ernest Dodge, 20, of Quincy Massachusetts, dying at Memorial Hospital from a fractured skull after a cat riding in a vehicle skidded on Oberlin road and struck a pole. His companion Ernest Blackman, also of Quincy, was uninjured. The body was sent to Quincy today by Nichols Funeral Home.
