Priest shares El Salvador beauty and poverty
North Ridgeville Reverend Doug Koesel, longtime associate pastor at St. Peter, describes El Salvador as beautiful yet poor. He recounts experiences from 1981 to 1986 and recent trips with parishioners, noting stark poverty, a growing middle gap, and efforts like Friends of El Salvador supporting a 400-student school.
