The Hour of Comfort radio program's long run ends and moves
Rev. Daniel Buser, a modest 70 year old Amherst evangelist, began The Hour of Comfort in 1940 on WOEL and now tapes for WZLE. He recalls early days with little technology, wartime gas limits, and a mission to bring Christ over the air with sincere, comforting messages. He emphasizes reaching a broad cross section of listeners and offering hope amid everyday sorrows.
