Keeping things in the family at Oberlin’s 125th scene
Mrs. Ernest Hoffman showcases a century old family trove including paper dolls, quilt pieces, and a log cabin quilt with 18 000 handmade squares. The Oberlin 125th anniversary festival aims to ease traffic with a pedestrian mall on Main and College Streets while planners route north and southbound traffic to keep flow around the closed streets. The old wood chopper notes a motto from Josh Billings about truth as brave as battle.
