General Otto Weyland told NBC correspondent John Rich that the Communist bomber fleet in the Far East is expanding significantly in conjunction with USSR atomic and hydrogen weapon capabilities. He said Reds outnumber Allied air forces in the area about two to one and are strengthening and modernizing their offensive bomber forces. Weyland noted the UN command cannot be sure of exact strength comparisons and suggested some pilots seek political asylum by defecting to the free world. He also anticipated tighter restrictions ahead.

Mrs Pfaff Dies Here. Widow of Local Clothier
Lydia Seibel Pfaff 70 widow of Henry Pfaff longtime Oberlin clothier died Wednesday at her daughter Myrla Stoll’s home in North Olmsted after illness since June. Born in Delta she lived in Oberlin 38 years, worked seven years at BeVier Department Store, active in Eastern Star Pythian Sisters and local clubs. Survived by son Henry A. Detroit and daughter Myrla. burial at Butter Nut Ridge North Olmsted. Funeral Friday at Cowling Stang with two local ministers officiating.
