A cat named Lucky woke Mrs. Walter Schilling during a blaze at their 140 Mull Ave home in Avon Lake. Firefighters extinguished the fire in 15 minutes but Lucky died from smoke. Damages reach 11 500 dollars. the cause is undetermined. The Schillings stayed in a motel as eight firemen and one pumper worked the scene.
