Florida hurricanes turn up long lost class rings
Hurricanes along the Florida coast washed ashore two high school class rings from the 1960s. Lorrie Sprigg found Larry Mitchell's 1964 Clarkston High School ring and Christian County High School's 1963 ring traced to Beth Townsend in Kentucky. Townsend learned her ring had been lost in Florida during spring break. She linked the discovery to storms shifting sand and healing in crises.
