Irvin Lawrence Smith twenty of 3132 Woodbine avenue Cleveland was to be arraigned before Justice of the Peace James Horn this afternoon on a charge of first degree murder for the Friday evening killing of Walter Konarski sixty five of Marks road Columbia Station. Smith may also face robbery and shooting to kill charges in the case involving Konarski's farm helper Raymond Mattingly thirty eight who is recovering in Berea Hospital from a shotgun wound in his back.

Athletic Letters To Be Awarded At Grid Assembly
The Lake Erie League champion Pioneers will receive football letters and other awards at the annual recognition assembly in the school auditorium Thursday morning. The 2951 Lake Erie League trophy will be presented along with reserve and freshman team honors for Setters 19. Coach Harald Block will be introduced with his basketball squad, and a pep session will launch the 1932 basketball season at Elyria High. The student body attends, coaches Coyer Bacher and Wilson award letterees, and students vote on reserve cheerleaders to lead cheers at all reserve basketball games. The Student Cabinet chairs the program with Jim Kimball as chair.
