Elyria residents face final voting day for the name of the new senior high. Nearly 500 names were proposed and about 200 ballots returned with five names in contention. Elyria West leads with Northwest Liberty Lake West and Lincoln close behind. a 33 percent threshold triggers a winner, else a runoff between top two names. Loon Injured by Street in North Ridgeville

A young loon found on a North Ridgeville street by Bill Lewis and Chuck Elswick was turned over to Ranger Carl Crapo.
