Lorain man charged after mother found abused and neglected
Steven Whitman, 51, faced in Lorain Municipal Court on charges of domestic violence patient abuse gross neglect and failure to provide for a functionally impaired person after police found his 70 year old mother Janet Whitman left in her home in squalor with urine and feces and multiple injuries. Janet, reported as functionally impaired and weighing about 70 pounds, was hospitalized with a broken arm broken hip and other injuries.
