Teen shot in neck during car chase in Elyria
A 16-year-old Elyria boy was shot in the neck while driving a car pursued by another vehicle around 2:13 a.m. near Lake Avenue and Adams Street. Officers later found the wounded driver, Mark Grady, as they searched for a possibly newer blue Chevy Impala involved in the chase.

Inmate’s murder claim fails to locate bodies near Black River
Lorain police and city workers searched a 6-foot deep pit south of the 12th Street trestle after Theodore Miller, a 29 year old sex offender inmate, claimed to have buried a mother and two children there. No human remains or disturbed soil were found during the excavation. Miller had led investigators to the spot while serving a four year sentence for failing to register as a sex offender.

Visitation for Crash Victims Set for Sunday
In Camden Township the family of Gar A. Cole 23 of Wellington will hold visitation Sunday following a fatal crash on Baumhart Road Tuesday. The Lowe's Home Improvement truck driver said he saw the car cross center line and tried to avoid the collision. the truck driver honked the horn while a passenger corroborated this account.
