Woman Hurt In Turnpike Crash In North Ridgeville
Marcelyn Karpan 41 of Cleveland was hospitalized with head and spinal injuries after hydroplaning on the Ohio Turnpike in North Ridgeville. Her 1996 Lumina was struck in the center lane by a 2009 Freightliner driven by Scott Gaines 33 of North Royalton, sending both vehicles off the road. Gaines escaped injury. Karpan was airlifted to MetroHealth in Cleveland in fair condition.
