Lorain resident Edward J. Kozich Jr. was sentenced to six years after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary attempted reporting incident holding against will and resisting arrest in the April 24 home invasion. A sexual predator designation was ordered and lifelong address registration required.
Jesse James Graham, 27, an Elyria resident, was extradited from Alabama to Ohio to face aggravated robbery charges for a January 23, 1997, Middle Avenue apartment heist in which a safe was taken at gunpoint. Indicted March 19, 1997, he was held on $100,000 bond. the charge carries 3 to 10 years, with a gun-use specification potentially adding three more years.
