Foat acquittal seen as symbolic victory for women
In Gretna Louisiana a packed District Court heard jurors find feminist Ginny Foat 42 not guilty of a 1965 murder. The acquittal comes after an 18 year push by Foat who says the ruling highlights gender bias and abuse while she plans to return to California to rebuild her life.
