Columbia Gas customers face new 13 cent per 1000 cf charge
Columbia Gas of Ohio notified the Public Utilities Commission that residential customers will see a 13 cent per 1000 cubic feet gas cost recovery charge added on Dec 10. A typical 11 000 cf monthly user would pay about 1.44 more, amid rising natural gas prices and supplier renegotiations.

Schools Accept Gifts From Kiwanis and Middle School Council
Sheffield Lake district gratefully accepted gifts from Kiwanis and Sheffield Middle School Student Council. The council raised 1000 dollars over two school years to repair the memorial sign before the school. The Kiwanis Builders Club donated two fire blankets an ironing board and an electronic thermometer to the middle school.
