Chance the dog given second chance after trap and gunshot
A two to three year old golden retriever named Chance was found in the Sheffield Lorain area with a front leg foot trap and a gunshot wound. He underwent amputation of the injured left rear leg after evaluation and antibiotics, with further toe considerations possible. The dog is under care at Lorain County Animal Emergency Center as staff monitor blood flow and stabilize him for surgery.
