FBI style county crime data indicate Lorain County property crimes fell in 2013 with North Ridgeville down 19 percent and Oberlin and Vermilion each about 30 percent. Violent crimes mostly held steady though Lorain saw mixed results including 6 percent fewer violent crimes citywide and two additional murders.
