Armero Devastation After Nevado del Ruiz Eruption

Avon Lake businessman shot to death in Cleveland parking lot

Avon Lake businessman Ralph Barone, 45, owner of Crown Supply Co. in Rocky River, was found shot four times in his rented car in a Prospect Avenue lot on Cleveland’s east side. Police reported no robbery motive and investigated possible earlier shooting. Barone had past cocaine and marijuana charges in 1983 and worked at De Capite's Office Furniture before focusing on his Rocky River business.
