Prime Minister Menachem Begin officially invites Egyptian President Anwar Sadat to visit Israel through the U.S. ambassador Samuel Lewis. Sadat calls the trip a holy job and says he will go as soon as Israel extends a formal invitation. He vows to speak for Egypt only and not for other Arabs.

West River Parkway traffic plan to reverse flow
