Kopf shifts from condos to 21 townhouses in Sheffield Lake
Developer Herman Kopf scraps a $10 million 48 unit luxury condo project on Lake Road and proposes 21 townhouses instead. He cites financing pressures from the savings and loan crisis and seeks Planning Commission approval with support from Mayor Kelly and a handshake with adjacent owner Rob King. The plan hinges on a court-ordered rezoning and an agreement with King prior to a Dec. 5 Planning Commission meeting.
