A patriotic event is planned at Bendix Plant Here on Monday November 16 with a company wide assembly in the assembly department. Captain K Henderson War Department district chief will deliver the main address on the Flag with the ay ud. Lawrence Sadler and R ds Morrison will receive the Flag on behalf of the employees. Elyria High School band, directed by WF Ven Brock, will perform as the second feature of the occasion.

Fremont Flier Nephew of Elyria Woman Dies in Crash

Lieut. Col. Jack Zimmerman, former Fremont man and chief of the North Atlantic Ferry Command, perished when a plane capsized near Presque Isle. He was a nephew of Mrs. Charlie S. Jetson of the Endley block. A memorial service will be held Sunday in Fremont with Army air squadrons to cruise the city.
