Shoppers Rally At Gibson’s Bakery In Oberlin Probe
Crowds traveled from across Ohio to Gibson’s Bakery for nuts coffee and support after Oberlin College students alleged racial profiling in the Wednesday arrest of 19 year old Jonathan Aladin for alleged shoplifting. A Saturday cash mob backed the business as employees served long lines. Aladin was accused of concealing two bottles of wine and was detain ed by shop staff with police called. The incident centered on alleged profiling and the bakery owners.
