Retire After Long Service With Railroad
I J Leamon a 388 East Bridge Street plans a long railroad trip with his wife after 56 years of service. He retired October 31 as a track foreman for the New York Central Railroad and was honored at an Elks Club banquet along with two other retirees. Leamon began work at 13 and spent 28 years in Elyria with NY Central, previously with B O Railroad in Grafton. He has two children, Mrs. F A Fisher of Lorain and M H Leamon of Elyria.
