Illness Fatal to Oberlin Professor J Oscar Lofberg
Professor J Oscar Lofberg of the Oberlin College Department of Classics died after several weeks illness. Born in 1882 in Jacobstad Finland he trained at Stetson University and the University of Chicago earning a PhD in 1914. He taught at multiple institutions before joining Oberlin in 1927. He is survived by his widow Maude Sparkman Lofberg. Funeral services Friday at 2:00 PM will be private.
