Ford Motor Co. announced acquisition of Fruehaup Corp. Avon Lake facility to expand Econoline truck production. The 870000 square foot plant on a 115 acre site will paint Econoline bodies from Lorain and start operations in October 1973, creating about 368 jobs. Work begins in early 1973.
