Murderer Durkin Found With Saws In Cell Prior Joliet Transfer
In a Joliet jail, blades were discovered hidden in Martin Durkin s cot by Warden Edward Fogarty after a tip of a planned escape. Durkin, labeled a killer, resisted when confronted and was placated by threats of solitary confinement. He faces combined 45 year sentences from the Federal Agent in the case from Shanuakan.
