Oklahoma City reports N C Jewett the Ku Klux Klan wizard says Walton cannot be broken by the Klan. He insists the impeach trial is a state matter, with the Klan adopting a hands off policy while evidence is presented in Lawton federal court and state proceedings continue.
Ogden Kansas bank robbed early today by four or five bandits who fled by car after taking 2000 in cash and 10000 in bonds. The vaults were blown with nitroglycerine charges. town marshal fired at the criminals as wires were cut and citizens stayed indoors. In Thornton near Spokane three expert cracksmen opened a bank vault and escaped with several thousand dollars in cash and securities. Denver notes gasoline price at fifteen cents a gallon including road tax.
In Cincinnati area two Glendale youths returning from school were struck by a Cincinnati Indianapolis and Western passenger train. Their bodies were hurled about 30 feet. In Pittsburgh a 42 year old Ohio man, H. A. Huntley of Girard, superintendent of Culbertson Construction, died when his car was struck by a Cleveland passenger train at Edgeworth crossing on the Fort Wayne division.

Henry Spratte a dough mixers helper at Maths Bakery was caught in a dough mixer in Cincinnati on November 8. He suffered severe injuries and was reported in critical condition. Police and medical staff responded to the incident.

In Chicago a running gun battle ended with the capture of Anna Baron and John Stankis after a stolen touring car tied to seven holdups was halted by detectives. Stankis confessed. Anna, seized in the rear seat, had prior larceny charges. Victims lost about 500 dollars in cash and jewelry.
Tony Mentolone pleaded guilty in Belmont County Common Pleas Court to murder for the death of W. D. Strans after drinking bootleg liquor at Mentolone’s Lafferty place. He received a sentence of one to twenty years in the Ohio Penitentiary.
In Jersey City an insane patient seized a policeman's revolver and shot Patrolman Dennis O'Brien and attendant Michael Lyons before being shot by a police officer. More than 259 patients panicked at the Greenville hospital as the incident unfolded. Staley Urban was wounded in the shoulder.
New York court today rejected an unsigned, misspelled appeal letter titled as a confession in the James A. Stillman case. Judge Gleason ruled the epistle irrelevant, noting it refers to figures such as Fred Beauvais and an Indian baby, and that Guy is the son of Stillman, not Fred.
