Coastal storm dumps snow across mid-Atlantic and Northeast

On November 6 1954 a coastal storm delivered 3 inches of snow in Richmond Virginia up to 18 inches in Philadelphia and as much as 27 inches in the mountains. The system produced wind gusts near 90 miles per hour at Block Island Rhode Island.
