Girl Scout Gold Award project aims to honor deceased at Ridgelawn Cemetery

Her first work session at Ridgelawn on Oct 28 drew 21 volunteers from Elyria Catholic High School St Jude School and several Girl Scout troops plus Cub Scout Pack 110 to clean headstones in the oldest cemetery section dating to the late 1700s. Two more sessions are planned in spring and summer before she submits for the Gold Award, the equivalent of the Eagle Scout.
