Ruling Finds No Expert Opinion By Underwager in Case
The court said Ralph Underwager’s views were not an expert opinion in a pending case and he did not participate in Smith’s trial. Underwager’s comments were for newspaper reporting on investigatory procedures used in the case. Smith, a former Head Start bus driver, was convicted in August 1994 of raping and sexually molesting children on her bus.
