Bay schools levy loses again in Bay Village

Bay Village voters rejected the 6 mill school levy 3 978 to 3 327 amid 0.8 percent new support since August. Superintendent Mannard Bauer said results push a reset for 1987 88 budgeting as the district seeks to cut costs and maintain low per student spending. Absentee ballots were 318 215 against the measure as community volunteers campaigned to inform residents.
