Anthony Center St. died yesterday at 11 30 at the hospital after an extended illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Local officials reported a recent death at the hospital and the family awaited details.
Joe Chepal pleaded guilty to manslaughter for the shooting of Joe Bino at South Amherst on August 12 during a quarrel while intoxicated. Indicted for second degree murder, he was sentenced by Judge Thompson to serve not less than one year and not more than twenty years in the penitentiary.

Born July 30 1837 in Welford England she came to America with her family and lived in the Philpott home on Middle Avenue for forty years before moving in with Mrs Winckles. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Winckles home conducted by Rev Edwin Kirby with interment at Ridgelawn cemetery.
