Ohio opens trapping season with fur production ranking high
Ohio begins its 1983 trapping season with coon and muskrat opens Tuesday and continues through January 31, 1984. Raccoon mink and muskrat are the main furbearers with no bag limits. fox opossum skunk and weasel also open statewide with no bag limits. Beaver season runs December 9 1983 to February 29 1984 with a 15 beaver limit per license year and selective public lands permit trapping.
