Water shut off triggers school strike near Lorain

Body Of Woman Found In Lake Erie Near Erie
A woman identified as Mrs. Ethel Russ, 35, of Cleveland, was found dead in Lake Erie off Erie Pennsylvania. Coroner W G Stroble ruled death by own action after a diary note dated August 27 indicated she planned to leap into the lake. Her husband Ray Russ said she had been despondent over his unemployment.
