Szivan makes history with first all state finish for Amherst girl

Amherst runner Alexis Szivan finished seventh at the Ohio state cross country meet, the first all state finish for an Amherst girl since 1996, with 18:30.48 in Division I. Black River’s Tanner Hawley placed 21st in Division III, while other local runners and teams posted notable showings in multiple divisions.
