The A1 region bridge project overseen in an eight‑county area including Lorain County faces three to four weeks of rain delays. Crews delayed pouring the concrete deck and expect reopening the week after Thanksgiving if weather allows. The $2 million project, begun in April and originally due Oct 31, replaces a 308‑foot bridge with a composite deck and new piers.
