Ohio Fuel Gas Co Would Raise Rates
The Ohio Fuel Gas Co asked the State Public Utilities Commission to approve higher rates for rural customers in Lorain County and Pittsfield village affecting about 730 customers. Tragedy at Denver Area as United DC-6B Crashes
A United Air Lines DC-6B crashed near Longmont Colorado killing all 44 aboard including crew members and at least one child. Flight 629 from New York to Seattle had taken off from Denver Stapleton about 7:10 p.m. local time. Searchers found all bodies within a two mile area amid wreckage in a sugar beet field.
