Brookside’s Hudak leads six man champs again
Brookside High’s football team captured the Lorain County Scholastic Six Man League title for the second straight year under coach Joe Hudak who previously built programs at Paton, Brookside and Avon Lake. Hudak’s squads posted strong records, with this season showing a perfect run and high scoring while sustaining a senior-heavy lineup. Three Ohio high schools were placed on probation for sportsmanship concerns, and Avon Lake narrowly defeated Brookside by a late touchdown before dropping a point-after attempt.
