Three Arrested After String of Armed Robberies
Lorain County SWAT and Elyria Lorain police rounded up an Elyria man Phillip Boschetti Jr 24 Amber Blackburn 27 and Alan Wharton 29 as getaway driver in a spree that began Sunday at Convenient Food Mart Express and ended with a Denny's robbery. They were charged with three counts of aggravated robbery after surveillance footage linked them to the crimes. Officials said the arrests likely prevented a dangerous escalation.
