Soldiers in Afghanistan honor Memorial Day

In Kabul, U S troops and about 100 U S Army Corps of Engineers staff gathered at the corps headquarters to observe Memorial Day with candles and a moment of reflection. Col Thomas Magness urged remembrance of sacrifices while noting the broader mission in Afghanistan following the Sept 11 attacks. Roger Nowicki emphasized the country’s resolve to continue the fight.

Keystone to make 12th state tournament trip after regional win
