Fire and police say more than 300 gallons of gasoline spilled from a 4000 gallon tank at Elyria Gas USA seeping into sewers along Ninth Street and toward EMH Regional Medical Center. East Avenue was closed overnight while cleanup crews contained the leak. Red Cross opened a shelter at St Marys Church.
