The Ohio House voted 78 to 15 to allow bigger trucks on highways. The measure raises semi trailer length from 55 to 60 feet and gross weight from 78,000 to 80,000 pounds, with axle limits also increased. If the Senate passes it, the act would take effect in 90 days.
