Suspected serial killer Derrick Lee captured in Atlanta
Derrick Todd Lee, 34, the man suspected of killing five southern Louisiana women since 2001, was arrested in Atlanta by an FBI task force and Atlanta police. He faces murder and aggravated rape charges in Louisiana. Lee had been staying at a Lakewood Motel and traveled from Louisiana through Chicago to Georgia, where he had worked cash jobs and charmed locals. Police linked DNA from Lee to the Yoder murder and four earlier killings, with federal authorities releasing his photo to help locate him.
