Mid life crisis led Ray to Indy
Greg Ray, pole sitter for the Indy 500, describes starting racing at 25 after a self described mid life crisis. The Texan built a racing career from watching old Indy 600s, investing 250000 in gear, and training under a demanding father while balancing a family marine business in Plano. Ray aims to race with fear managed, not eliminated, and notes the risk is balanced by drive and opportunity.
