PTSD defense questioned by juries in Ohio Vietnam cases

In northeast Ohio about 5000 Vietnam veterans suffer combat flashbacks yet lawyers say juries doubt PTSD as a defense. Two Cleveland men, David Stein and Darrel Hale, were acquitted on assault and criminal damaging charges after testimonies about flashbacks and war traumas.

Prisoner shot after cutting officer in Columbus incident

Harold Anderson, 33, of Columbus, cut Officer Weis with a 12 inch knife during transport. He was shot in the leg, treated, and jailed on felonious assault charges while Weis remained on duty. a firearms review board will investigate.
