Pre-trial continued in Lorain murder case
William Cruz 34 of Lorain pleaded innocent to aggravated murder in the May death of Juan Diaz. A Lorain County judge continued the pre-trial to June 1 after a secret May 15 grand jury indictment. Cruz remains jailed on 250000 bond for allegedly shooting Diaz at his third street home and moving him to St Joseph Hospital where he died.
