Elyria's Memorial Day parade is rerouted due to the Washington Avenue Bridge closure. The procession will start at Elyria Catholic High School at 10 a.m. and proceed south on Gulf Road to Ohio Street, then Glenwood toward Ridgelawn Cemetery for veterans services. parade chairman Art Weber and Assistant Engineer John Hart confirmed the new route and limited Gulf Road lanes due to curb repairs.
