Widow Sues For 1 Million Over Lake Erie Drowning
Elyria widow Joan Joseph sues for 1 million in Lorain County Common Pleas Court alleging that Terry O Keefe negligently operated a motorboat on Lake Erie near Vermilion on June 11 1982 causing her husband Glen E Joseph to drown. The suit seeks 1 001 924 35 in damages and accuses O Keefe of failing to wear a life preserver and to rescue Joseph after he fell overboard. The Coast Guard and others searched the area for three days without success.
