Raiders target Elyria Township bars seize illegal gaming machines
Ohio Casino Control Commission agents along with the Ohio Investigative Unit and Lorain County sheriff raided Jackpot Enterprises at 41951 North Ridge Road and MAHC House Bar & Grille at 41573 North Ridge Road in Elyria Township as part of an illegal gambling investigation. Three machines were seized after complaints alleging Ohio law violations. No charges were filed. owner Jim Tucker says machines paid cash, not gift cards, and warns a liquor-license mark may follow. Authorities note more than 7,200 illegal machines have been seized statewide.
